​William "Big Will" Dunn, a tire salesman who has been taking kids out fishing for over a decade. Dunn was inspired by a young neighbor who had no father figure and was thrilled to catch a fish. Since then, Dunn has been investing his savings to take thousands of kids, many of whom are fatherless, out fishing. For these kids, the water is a different world, and the experience is special, giving them a feeling of freedom. Beyond catching fish, they also learn important life lessons like patience.
